Dan Shaw

Mr. Shaw started his career as Vice President of Deseret Federal Savings and Loan, after studying recreation management at BYU and later graduating from the American Banking Institute with an emphasis on secondary money markets. He frequently is called upon to speak to such business and professional organizations as the Nevada Apartment Association and several university MBA programs. Mr. Shaw has been an active participant in numerous professional organizations, including the Building Owners & Managers Association and the Las Vegas Apartment Board, where he served as director for two years. He also is a past President of the National Council of Shopping Centers in Nevada.

In July 2011, Mr. Shaw and his business partner, Greg Jones, formed Integra Financial Services, LLC for the purpose of acquiring substantially all of the assets of Impact Payment Systems, LLC, an on-line variable payment installment loan lender.

In December 2007, Mr. Shaw and Mr. Jones, formed ShawJones Partners, LLC. ShawJones Partners is an investment firm established to acquire, fund and operate a diverse array of business operations utilizing the skills of a management team.

Prior to forming ShawJones Partners, LLC, Mr. Shaw was owner and CEO of the following companies: RMI Development, LLC; Realty Management, LLC; RMI Investment Services, LLC.

In 2005, Mr. Shaw, along with two other partners, founded RMI Development, LLC. He served as President for RMI Development and was involved with overseeing land acquisitions, joint venture opportunities, entitlements, construction bidding and construction budgeting and timelines.

As CEO of Realty Management, LLC, Dan Shaw lead the largest fee management company in Nevada in developing, consulting, acquiring and managing more than 28,000 apartments nationwide. Since he founded the company in 1990, Mr. Shaw was instrumental in the development, acquisition and management of more than 10,000 apartment units. Mr. Shaw oversaw the property management and development of multi-family units in Southern Nevada, Texas, and other states.

Prior to founding each of the RMI entities, Mr. Shaw was President of the Vista Group, a full-service investment and management company. During his eight years as President, he guided the development and construction of some of Las Vegas’ finest shopping centers, office parks, apartment projects and industrial office facilities, including Renaissance Office Park I & II. During Mr. Shaw’s tenure as President, he guided the Vista Group through their acquisition of a nationwide grocery store chain, Food 4 Less.
Mr. Shaw also is actively involved in his community. He served as chairman of the Planning Commission of Clark County, Nevada. He is currently serving on the Henderson City Council and serves on the Nevada State College Board of Trustees. He served as Chairman of the Planning Commission of the city of Henderson, Nevada for 13 years. He was formerly chairman of Henderson’s Parks & Recreation Board for 12 years. Mr. Shaw was recently recognized as the National Outstanding Citizen for his leadership in the parks and recreation Industry .

An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Shaw competes as a rodeo “heeler’ on a two-man roping team. He currently serves as the President and CEO of the Days of ’47 Rodeo, a charitable organization. He enjoys skiing, golf, and most outdoor activities.

Dan is married and has six children.
